THE MENAGERIE
A creator of needlefelted animals, flora and fauna, using age old traditional skills. Needle-felting is a process using a barbed needle to tangle fleece, to sculpt with wool. We use English, alpaca, Angora, mixed fibres and merino wools.
Inspired by nature and my love of old vintage children books such as Beatrix potter, Brambly Hedge and Wind in the Willows.
These books have a magical timeless feel about them, which I try to recreate in my work.
The Menagerie is a place full of my creations and vintage curiosities. It is a Hamlet to escape and lose yourself in.
With workshops starting soon, I’m hoping to give you the same experience and all courses will be listed in my shop
when they are available.

Sorry, I have only just managed to log onto my folksy account again ... the chrimbo pud cushion is fab & what beautiful buttons, love it!! Will be wanting a different design this yuletide to add to it, maybe snowmen?! Thanks again!
