Hey there, and welcome! I'm Jayne, the hands and heart behind IvyMatilda. Tucked away in my cozy little sewing room, I spend my days stitching up joy—one tiny piece of fabric at a time.
My love for appliqué began with my two wonderful grandmas and my mum, who each had a way of making magic with a needle and thread. They taught me that a bit of fabric, a little patience, and a whole lot of love could turn the simplest things into something special. Those early lessons stuck with me, though life kept me busy raising my three sons.
When my boys grew up and left the nest, I found myself with empty bedrooms and a whole lot of creative energy just waiting to be set free. So, I turned a quiet space into my sewing haven, where I now craft heartfelt, handmade cards and gifts. Each stitch is a little nod to my grandmas and mum, a little piece of my journey, and a whole lot of love wrapped up just for you.
