Hand crocheted items, made with love from my happy place
I started crocheting in 2024 when I started a diet. I immediately fell in love with it for it's ability to keep my hands busy, but also for the mindfulness it provides. I concentrate on the crocheting to the extent I can block out the negative thoughts and I love seeing the finished product is how I pictured it.
I quickly realised there is only so much you can make for yourself. Family and friends all had handmade crochet Christmas presents! I was then stuck as no one needed anything crocheted, Argh!
I was donated some wool from work, I work for a drug and alcohol charity, so I decided to crochet some hats, scarves and gloves for the clients. These went down so well, I decided to open my shop....and here we are.
I have a cat called Gus, who we adopted from a cats home almost 3 years ago now. He often supervises me to ensure I am crocheting to my best, so you can be sure the items I make and sell are of the highest quality, once they've been through my 'product quality checker'!
