Growing and crafting herbal medicines from my forest garden in Galloway, Scotland

Hi, I'm Jennie, a trainee herbalist and keen grower living in beautiful Galloway in south-west Scotland. I'm currently undertaking studies in herbalism, and developing my own forest garden on the edge of a plantation; its a beautiful little corner of colour and diversity against the backdrop of conifers. My initial plantings include my personal herbal allies and a range of herbs suitable for topical applications. Between working as a gardener, working my own garden, and entertaining a toddler, I can be found at my wood-fired Rayburn crafting salves and balms indicated based on traditional use to aid the healing of common ailments and minor injuries. I am not a medical doctor and do not offer medical advice. All the products I make are in line with my level of training and I am insured. As my knowledge and my garden continue to develop I hope to offer more home-grown herbal medicines and eventually full clinical consultations.
