Hi all, welcome to Ferg of the Fens!
About me:
I’m Amy, ex scientist, lover of plants. I live near the Norfolk/Cambridgeshire border with my slightly crazy human and animal family. We are very fortunate to have half an acre of garden and do our best to steward it as ecologically friendly as possible. We grow lots of our own fruit and veg in addition to many flowers (some for picking/drying, some purely for the pollinators). We have multiple compost heaps, log piles, 'weeds' and absolutely zero pesticides/herbicides. In addition, we only ever use peat free compost. Our garden is very much a work in progress, but we will always have 'untidy' areas which we leave alone as much as possible, as we know how important it is for the wildlife we share our home with.
About the products:
All the dried flowers you see here have been grown organically in peat free compost here in the Fens – local, long lasting, environmentally friendly and beautiful. Suitable for your home, gifts, table displays, wedding bouquets or just flouncing around with for that forest fairy vibe. Dried flowers will not last forever, they're not made of plastic after all. However, they will last much, much longer than fresh flowers, even years in the right conditions. For best results, keep dry, out of direct sunlight and where they won't get disturbed too much (little hands and waggy tails spring to mind!). In addition to the dried flower products, I also stock some other plant related crafts which I hope you will enjoy. If you can't find quite what you're looking for, please just ask as I will always consider custom orders.
Muchos love.
Amy

Absolutely inspired way of displaying dried flowers, one can appreciate every stem. Packing was superb so that the piece survived the rigours of its postal journey intact. Very very pleased! Many thanks.
