Kids fashion reworked from discarded adult clothing

I design and make on-trend kids fashion from discarded adult clothing saved from ragging, landfill or incineration.

I find the fast fashion industry's impact on the environment, and exploitation of garment workers extremely concerning. As a Mum of young kids I am keenly aware of the speed that children go through their clothing. I've also been shocked to find out recently that my local charity shop sends 30 bags a week of clothes to ragging, and who knows how much of that ends up in landfill or incineration.

This led me to the idea of making kids jumpers out of old adult clothing. By creating patchwork, colour blocking, mix and match designs, I can use old clothes with little retail value due to stains or damage, but also make use of original features, making it clear where the materials have come from. Each piece is unique by nature. I aim to make my designs fun, gender-neutral, on trend, and low impact on the environment.

I donate £2 from each garment sold to Labour Behind the Label, who campaign for garment worker's rights world wide.
