Amanda Graham Jewellery£200.00
I started making jewellery many years ago when I worked as an ITU nurse. Jewellery became a mindful activity that helped distract me from the daily stressors of the job. Initially I just made for myself and friends.
After leaving nursing I persued an academic career, still making jewellery in my spare time and then worked in publishing for many years. Last year I decided to take the plunge and to focus fully on my new jewellery business. I've been doing more selling exhibitions over 2024.and now decided sell a small selection online.
I make everything from scratch and have a zero waste policy as part of my commitment to working sustainably. This includes recycling my own scrap and using recycled and and recyclable packaging.
My inspiration comes from travel and my local environment, in which I'm surrounded by historic disused quarry sites that have become gradually reclaimed by nature
