Hand-rolled and hand-painted ceramic beads, each one a unique piece of art.

I started making beads in Cape Town when I was 16 and our family became the 2nd largest suppliers of ceramic beads worldwide in the mid 80s.

After moving to the UK, I then discovered film/video and have been a motion graphics animator and film editor for over 20 years. I love film and video, but missed the immediacy of working with clay. About a year ago, I resurrected the ceramic business and love making the beads, which add colour to the world on a grey day.

It's always like Christmas when I open the kiln to see how they all came out.

The possibilities are endless as they are all hand-made and that's what keeps it exciting.
