About Sea Gems by Meg

Sea Gems by Meg

Sea glass fanatic who makes necklaces out of the treasures I find on the shore in North East England.

I grew up in the United States on the shores of Lake Michigan, which is a part of the Great Lakes. For those of you who have never been, the great lakes are like inland seas, with shipwrecks, rip tides, big waves and everything but the salt. Growing up my mom and I would collect and look for sea glass at Point Beach, Wisconsin. Now I live in England and I live by the North Sea, in South Shields and I collect sea glass every time I go down to the beach and coves.
