Well; where do I begin? I'm a professional artist living and working in rural Lincolnshire with my collie-cross, Monty. Being a dog, Monty is rubbish at painting, so I'm the one who has to earn the money to renovate our 200-year-old cottage. Monty, on the other hand, gets in the way. But I love him.
When I first left college, my first job was working for an old-fashioned agricultural estate agency in Shropshire. It was sort of James Herriot with a tape measure - my day's work might be driving out into mid Wales to measure a field, or inspecting a row of old farm workers' cottages. Through this I got to know my apse from my ovolo, and a love of architecture, from stately homes to Victorian vernacular, followed. Couple that with a love of watercolours, and you arrive at where I am today - a professional artist working on house portraits, urban sketching and commercial artwork.
As you'll see, I work in numerous styles, so hopefully you'll see something that catches your eye.
