I love the design and create process, and have a passion for trialling new ideas and seeing where that leads. My small business allows me to channel my creativity and attention to detail (which relieves the frustration from the full time job) and brings a bit of joy to and conversation with people I would otherwise have never met.

I am always on the lookout for new items to create. I love working on commissions and have produced some simple objects from clocks to nametags which have brought more happiness to people than I would have expected. I enjoy a technical challenge, so my recent experimentation has involved living hinges and moving parts. I am hoping to use the results of this to start combining materials and other objects into my designs, and maybe lead to some artistic pieces as well!

I also dabble in picture framing, digital design and wood routing. Hopes and dreams for the future include a CO2/fibre laser, centre lathe, milling machine, CNC machine, 3D printer...
