This shop only sells in Great Britain. Open up to Christmas and over the holidays. Use the Contact button to request a post upgrade if you want Next Day Delivery. I print cards onto a sustainable English acid free, archival watercolour paper, prepared for digital print on both sides, so I can print a custom greeting inside; although cards are blank inside unless you request printed text inside. They are packed in compostable clear bags. Prints are on digital fine art papers. I specialise in hand sewing silk and natural fibres for apparel. I often re-use packaging to send you your orders.
If you want a product which is listed as unavailable or sold out, or you want to order more cards or prints than are listed in stock, please click on Contact above this announcement to send me a message and I will let you know if it is still in stock and/or if I can make more. I can usually make more cards quickly, up to 20 in a few days. For larger quantities I will let you know how soon I can make them for you.
Please contact me if you want a postage upgrade or if you need products sent quickly.

I was encouraged to draw and sew at home when I was a small child as I am lucky to come from a family with creative professionals stretching back through the generations: engineers, innovators, wood carvers, cabinet makers, embroideresses, dressmakers, photographers, dancers and more, so it was just normal to be creative.
I studied needlework, embroidery, art and technical drawing at school and then trained in art and fashion studios in London where most of the work was done by hand, just before computer technology started to dominate fashion and art studios.
When I was a young teenager I started to make my own patterns for clothes because I could not find patterns for clothes that I wanted to wear and I constantly made pencil sketches of clothes in my spare time as well as pictures.
People liked my clothes and asked me to design and make clothes for them and draw pictures as well, and so my practice began, expanding from handsewn clothes into my hand cut stencil cards, hand painted scarves, ladies accessories as well as further developing my fine art.
The stencil cards were originally individually airbrushed. The inks are now obsolete so I scanned the designs and print the cards myself with Epson Claria inks (archival quality) onto Bockingford an English190 gsm digital fine art paper, a medium weight paper with a lightly textured surface, using my own A4 desktop inkjet printer. The giclée prints are printed for me by a Fine Art Trade Guild print company from my own scans, although I sometimes print my own on my desktop printer.
I design, make the patterns and hand sew all the clothes and accessories and all the drawings are mine.
I prefer to work with natural fibres: silk, wool, cotton, linen although I do sometimes use some synthetic, artificial and mixed fibres.
Currently I work from a home base. It keeps overheads down but it also allows me to flex my working hours around my schedule, so I can also visit suppliers and shows and do all the other things, apart from designing and making that are part of the life of a dress designer and fine artist.
