If I find a piece of vintage embroidered linen that is past it's best, I salvage what I can from it and incorporate it into new items to be enjoyed every day.

Full description
Use this little book to keep your sewing needles neat and close at hand. I used a piece of pretty hand embroidery of flowers salvaged from a vintage table cloth, with a pink cotton print making up the rest to the cover.
I machine embroidered the word "Needles" onto cotton fabric in green thread and appliquéd this to the front, adding some buttons for decoration. Lined with blue printed quilting cotton which has a shimmery finish to it.
Inside are two leaves of white felt to hold needles and there is a cover button and loop fastening. Gently padded with fusible fleece. Measures approx 9cm x 13cm when closed.
This item is one of a kind and is ready to ship. I usually send out next day using second class postal service in order to keep shipping costs as low as possible, so if you would prefer first class, please get in touch. Your item will be wrapped in new tissue paper, whilst the outer packaging might be recycled.
