I have lived and worked amongst the splendour of the Yorkshire Dales and North Pennines for many years, including spells living in Kettlewell, Teesdale and now Ingleton. I spend the summer months working as a gardener and in the winter a Chimney Sweep. My work takes me far and wide across the whole region, and gives me plenty of inspiration for my art work. I am particularly drawn to the finer details amidst a vast and grand landscape; the shadow cast by a tumble down barn, or the abstract scrawl of the endless drystone walls.

Full description

This is a high quality fine art print on Hemp paper printed with eco-friendly inks. It depicts an original piece of artwork executed on Scraper Board. The process of making the original is like drawing in reverse! Instead of making black marks on white paper, each mark takes off the outer layer of black ink to reveal the white China clay below. The piece depicts a scene from my beloved Yorkshire Dales in which I live and work.

Designed by Robert Johnson in Ingleton
