I have lived in and around the Yorkshire Dales and North Pennines for many years. I have lived and worked in Kettlewell, Teesdale and Ingleton. My other work as a busy Chimney Sweep and Gardener takes me far and wide, amidst the beautiful and ever changing landscapes of this amazing area. My eye is always drawn to the little details amidst such grand vistas; The shadow thrown by a tumble down barn, or the abstract patterns scrawled on the hillsides by the endless drystone walls.

Full description

This is a framed fine art print of an original piece of art work done on Scraper Board. The process of creating the work is like drawing in reverse! Instead of making dark marks on white paper, each mark made takes off the outer layer of black ink to reveal the under layer of white china clay. The print depicts a local scene of the Yorkshire Dales in which I live and work.

Designed by Robert Johnson in Ingleton
