Full description
Add a little extra to your outside space with a beautiful squirrel silhouette.
I love seeing the transition from a grey squirrel to our native, and elusive, red squirrel as the redish-brown patina develops.
A piece of art, with nature offering an everchanging backdrop. It will catch your eye as the light catches it from different angles, and change through the seasons.
Simply tap it into softwood (or drill a starter hole if the wood is a little tougher) - available as a post topper or branch spike design.
Made from 3mm thick Corten Steel - it will start weathering within a few weeks and will eventually change to a lovely orange-brown colour. The unique properties of this material is that the weathering actually adds a protective layer that will protect the metal for decades. Not only does Corten steel offer much better corrosion resistance it also has greater strength and hardness than mild steel.
