I am a blacksmith and was inspired by feathered visitors into the workshop to design some hand-forged swallows to decorate the garden, which also led to red kite and buzzard designs. They are great fun to make but I wanted to offer some more intricate designs at affordable costs so designed the plasma cut silhouettes as an evolution to the hand-forged birds.

Add a little extra to your outside space with a beautiful bird silhouette.
A piece of art, with the sky offering an everchanging backdrop. It will catch your eye as the light catches it from different angles, and change through the seasons.
Simply tap it into softwood (or drill a starter hole if the wood is a little tougher)
Made from 3mm thick Corten Steel - it will start weathering within a few weeks and will eventually change to a lovely orange-brown colour. The unique properties of this material is that the weathering actually adds a protective layer that will protect the metal for decades. Not only does Corten steel offer much better corrosion resistance it also has greater strength and hardness than mild steel.
