All of the jewellery pieces in this Folksy shop are handmade by myself in a lovely, shed studio in my back garden.
The handmade jewellery I make is inspired by nature, the coastline of my home Island of Mersea, meaningful words and the joy of simplicity.
Handmade in recycled sterling silver, recycled gold, sterling silver, copper, 14ct gold filled, and occasionally brass. Semi-precious stones, precious stones and beads are also featured in my work.

Inspired by the coast of Mersea Island, the pebble beaches with its clumps of Marram grass blowing in the wind.

Full description
A seashore scene has been stamped and hammered onto recycled sterling silver cockle shell shaped drops. 9ct yellow gold has been hammered with the edge of a hammer and cut onto random shapes to represent the grass found on beaches. The details on the silver has been oxidised so they stand out more. The earrings hooks have been handmade from recycled sterling silver.
These earrings full length, from top of earring hook to bottom of the drop measures 6.3cm. with the drop alone measuring 2.7cm x 3cm (width).
Hallmarked by Birmingham Assay Office for their weight in solid 9ct gold and solid sterling silver.
As these earrings are ready made, they are ready to go, posted by Royal Mail special delivery. Please allow 1 to 3 days before being dispatched.
Packaged in a card earring box, finished with ribbon and contents card.
