All of the jewellery pieces in this Folksy shop are handmade by myself in a lovely, shed studio in my back garden.
The handmade jewellery I make is inspired by nature, the coastline of my home Island of Mersea, meaningful words and the joy of simplicity.
Handmade in recycled sterling silver, recycled gold, sterling silver, copper, 14ct gold filled, and occasionally brass. Semi-precious stones, precious stones and beads are also featured in my work.

inspired by the beach huts of Mersea Island. I live and work on Mersea (in my back garden shed studio) which has been compared to a beach hut inside... Although much more affordable... just like this super tiny beach hut pendant necklace!

Full description
The tiny beach hut including the little loop measures only 0.32cm x 0.7cm. Handmade from solid recycled sterling silver. The huts wooden panel effect has been made through hammering tiny lines in the surface, while the door is created by an upside-down letter 'U' metal stamp.
The chain length is 45cm. The style of chain is a dainty trace chain with bolt ring clasp, which is also known as a spring ring.
It can take between 1 - 3 days before posting.

All the silver in the jewellery I make is recycled sterling silver, which I either by in from a trusted precious metal supplier, or I melt the scraps from projects down myself to reuse... nothing is wasted!
Recycled sterling silver is the same quality and purity as virgin mined silver, however it has been derived from unwanted jewellery, scraps, electronics etc and melted down to form new reusable sterling silver. Mined silver has huge impact on the environment and people due to the huge excavation work and toxic chemicals used in the mining process.
