Workshops are held in my studio in Low Valleyfield, Fife, KY12 8TL All workshops must be paid for in full in order to secure your place. I am unable to hold any places without full payment. If we do not get 2 participants and you've purchased a place, you will be given a full refund by the same method you paid. Your booking is non refundable but may be transferred to a different date if an alternative is possible. You are welcome to pass your spot onto another person should you be unable to attend - please inform me of this substitution at least 3 days before class.

Make a flower brooch from wool!
10am - 12.30pm.

Who is this class for? This class is suitable for complete beginners to needle felting. No previous experience required. Age 14 years or older. Under 18s must be accompanied by a participating guardian.
What will I learn? Learn how to create a 3 dimensional form from natural wool fibres and using a special barbed needle, stab them repeatedly (very therapeutic) until the fibres mesh together and form 3 dimensional felt.
We will create individual petals, so you’ve plenty of scope to go a bit crazy with the colours. We then add a little detail in contrasting colours before we join them together to form a flower and then add more details with yarn. Once complete, we then stitch or glue a brooch pin to the back and wear!

In person tuition and a lot of fun.
What will I take home?
A finished felted flower brooch (or two, if you have time) to give as a gift or wear with pride.
Safety in class - needle felting can result in the odd pierced finger, same as all needle crafts. Felting needles are barbed so have the potential to injure and care should be taken at all times. By booking, you accept this and take responsibility for your safety in class.
