Who is this class for?

This class is suitable for complete beginners to knitting, or those who want a refresher of the basics. I keep my classes small to ensure everyone gets attention. Adults (16 years or older) only please - child/parent classes are available if requested. Please contact me to learn more.

What will I learn?

The foundations of knitting. Slip knots, casting on and off, knit stitches, purl stitches, stocking stitch and, if we have time, we will have a little bit of fun learning some more advanced techniques. This class is your foundation, allowing you to apply your knitting skills to scarves, tea cosies, hats and then garments as your skills progress.

What is provided in my class fee?

Yarn (2 balls) and knitting needles (these are yours to keep)

In person instruction

Plenty of hot drinks and snacks to keep the energy levels up (if you are gluten/dairy free - please bring what you need)

What do I need to bring?

Packed lunch (or you can pop up to the Co-op in High Valleyfield to grab a sandwich)

Glasses if required
