Viking Ship Pendants are one of my favourite makes. I totally immerse myself in the process of creating each one.....to me they symbolise journeys; protection, strength and the deep connection we have with our loved ones that never leaves us.
Working in sterling silver, I use traditional jewellers tools including a jewellers saw to pierce out shapes, hand engravers and metal punches to create texture with a fair bit of soldering, filing, sanding and polishing. I love selecting an interesting stone to set into each sail. An oxidised finish highlights detail in each piece.
This ship is set with a beautiful rose cut Chrysocolla cabochon. I have also set a 3mm white moonstone cabochon above the sail.
Measuring approx: 51mm x 34mm
Included: 18 inch sterling silver belcher chain. If you would prefer a longer length please add a note when ordering.
