Full description
I stand in awe of the beautiful collections of ancient jewellery held in the museums I have visited over the years. A link to the past and thoughts about who would have worn such treasures - the meanings behind each piece lost, as they lie buried waiting to be re-discovered.
I thought I would create a collection of relic pendants - this one is set with a citrine cabochon and is inspired by the sun. Sunne is an old English name for sun and in mythology Sunne (also Sunna or Sunu) is the Anglo Saxon goddess associated with the sun.
Made using traditional jewellers tools including my jewellers saw, hammers, metal punches, soldering, filing and polishing. With an oxidised finish.
Sterling silver measuring 24mm across excluding bale and set with a beautiful 8mm citrine cabochon in the centre.
The belcher chain supplied is 18 inch chain but if you would prefer a different length please let me know when ordering (a shorter length really compliments this style but the choice is yours!)
Please note I source all my silver from the same UK supplier which I have used for the past 20 years so you can be assured of the upmost quality.
