I first made a dignity bib for my dad, after his Alzheimer's diagnosis. Mealtimes and family celebrations had always been an important part of our lives and it was important to maintain social activities for him as long as possible. Far better to be seated at the table looking smart, whilst protecting clothes at the same time. I love to re-purpose smart, designer shirts and blouses to create this practical solution.

Styled like a shirt or blouse, the bib is backless and can be easily placed over the head and then buttoned up. Protects clothing from spills and dribbles, whilst maintaining a smart appearance and the wearer's self respect. The bib can turn every mealtime into a family celebration. Fully machine washable.
