I have one of these on my bedside table, one of these by the front door, one on my desk at work and have made dozens for friends neighbours and colleagues. I have kept the style simple as it just, well, works. I hand set the copper rivets and love the way over time they develop their own patina, I love copper rivets as they have been used for well over a hundred years for functional leather work. Once I have perfected the technique I hope to offer traditional tinned copper in future!

The Lavant is an ever-useful valet tray and is handmade using high quality Tomahawk leather from J Wood, and hand-set solid copper rivets. The Lavant is ideal for car keys by the front door, trinkets on a bedside, complimentary mints on your office desk, make up on your vanity table or anything your imagination can come up with! It is made from a firmer handling, thicker leather than our wallets so it will hold its shape. It would suit both men and women and would make an ideal gift for a special occasion.
