Pussy Willow is one of the first buds of spring and I love the structure of the stems and alternating buds.

Full description
This original floral art is created in mosaic and features Pussy Willow branches against a beige background. The hand cut flower heads are in shades of yellow, white and grey and the stems are cut from a dark grey/brown tile that stand out from the light beige background to create a simple but striking design.
I use beautiful Winckelmans tiles which are matt ceramic and come in soft muted tones. I hand cut each piece of tessera to create intricate images inspired by nature. The mosaic is mounted on a wooden canvas and the sides are part tiled to frame the plaque and give depth and is complete with hanging wire.
Measures 16cm x 16cm x 2.5cm
Due to the wooden frame, this art is suitable for display indoors only.
Each wall plaque is one of a kind but I am able to make more in a similar colour palette on request. I am also open to commissions, just contact me for a chat
