I am a retired arborist and have always been working with trees and walking through woodlands, so I've had the chance to see some beautiful old trees as well as new ones, this one is based loosely on an old hawthorn tree in a dark corner of an old wood, the twisted wire shows how it has been path of a strong wind before the younger ones took over but it still seems healthy enough to keep growing

This tree is one of my favourite,as it is based on a gnarled old tree i have seen many times when walking in the woods at work,it is made of 1.mm silver aluminium wire for the trunk and branches and 1.2. mm light pink for the leaves, it is made by carefully twisting the the wire around and around till the effect of what you want is done,then the leaves can be added they are made by coiling the wire around with different tools, it's shown with the roots still out of the ground, giving it the effect of slightly wind blowing it over slightly but it has still survived, the same with the trunk twisted and gnarled all adding to the great effect, it is has a layer of artificial grass around the base and moss, also wild flowers to give it a great effect again,it is standing in a genuine bonsai pot and comes with realistic wooden stand. The h,50.mm ,L.20. mm and W.16. mm
