Full description
Set of two Hanging Decorations. Unique handcrafted sun catchers with resin and metal leaf a bird and a feather and hand painted inks. I have included these in the perfectly imperfect event, this is reflective of the unpredictable nature of combining inks and resin.
Though they are pretty they do have what I would consider imperfections such as air bubbles where the ink has reacted or patches where the ink has bled into other inclusions such as dried leaves, so not as defined as I would have liked.
I began with a base layer of resin, then added bird and feather shapes cut from metal leaf and decorated with inks. Alongside this I have layers of gemstone chips, dried leaves and more ink. Once fully cured I have added copper foil to the edge and added waxed cord and a gemstone bead for hanging.
Decorations measure approx 2 inches
Each piece of jewellery or art is handcrafted by me to my own designs using quality materials purchased in the UK.
Your purchase will be sent wrapped in layers of tissue inside an organza gift bag or giftboxed if it is jewellery. Posted Royal Mail standard Post, please allow up to 3 days for delivery UK.
