Full description
This resin artwork has a beautiful layer of white and black Quartz crystal gemstones with clusters of rainbow moonstone and touches of Apatite gemstones and mirror chips and glitter held within resin to achieve the finished effect. To me the mirror section represents a bridge between light and dark.
It has lines painted around the crystals giving them a sense of being sat on an island within the black sea .
RAINBOW MOONSTONE has flecks of black and white and occasional rainbow flecks a perfect contrast to the deep velvety black background.
Rainbow moonstone is a milky white gem with flecks of rainbow sheen.
APATITE is a bluey green slightly translucent gemstone.
WHITE QUARTZ is a white or clear colour:
BLACK QUARTZ a solid black..
MIRRORS remind us of the need to see what is real and what is not.
The combination of these gemstones make this an ideal piece for a room where you want to create a calm and relaxing atmosphere.
This stunning piece is made on a wood canvas block and measures 12 x 9 inches
