The inspiration for this piece came from a purchasing trip, for gemstones to the Tucson Roack and Gem show and wanting to bring home a full sized fossilised Ammolite from Alberta in Canada.

Full description
This Fossilised Ammolite from Canada, has been set into a hand crafted sterling silver bezel. Forming a 1 of a kind pendant.
This amazing colour changing fossil, is iridescent and depending on the angle and light dances between green and red.
The iridescence in ammolite come from the interference that rebound from the stacks of thin platelets that makes up the aragonite.
Ammolite was given official status of Gemstone in 1981 by the world jewellery confederation.
Photos really do not do the colour changing aspect of this gemstone, it comes complete with an 18 inch chain but reach out if you would like changed for a different length.
40mm long and 15mm at the widest point.
You will receive the pendant in the picture.
My pendants are crafted in the highest quality sterling silver in our workshop in Romford. Come complete with sterling silver chain, pouch to keep in and wrapped in tissue paper.
Post will be via Royal Mail.
