Full description
This stunning scarf has been made using bright scarlet merino wool fibres and a blend of recycled sari silk fibres. Fine layers of merino wool have been topped with a layer of silk fibres and wet felted, a process that binds the fibres together and creates a stable fabric. The resulting scarf is beautifully soft with the silk adding colour, texture and a lustrous sheen to the surface.
Please note the silk fibres have been added to one surface only, the reverse has been left plain.
This is a long scarf measuring approximately 172cm x 20cm. Long enough to wrap around the neck or tie in a knot for additional warmth if required.

Wool is a natural fibre making it eco friendly, sustainable and biodegradable. It is breathable and reacts to the body temperature giving warmth in the winter but cool in the summer making this an all season accessory.
The scarf will be shipped wrapped in tissue paper with a card explaining the felting process and washing instructions.
Handwash only in warm water. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
