Full description
This handsome green man woollen sculpture has been needle felted using green woollen fibres. The leaves are made from 100% wool felt and are slightly lighter green in colour.
The green man is traditionally thought of as a symbol for rebirth and is a popular wall decoration.
The base and features for this green man are formed by needle felting woollen fibres and sculpting them into shape using a barbed felting needle. The leaves, which are pointed in shape, have been cut from a piece of 100% wool green felt.The markings have been added and they have then been attached around the circumference of the base by needle felting them into position. A small brass ring has been secured to the reverse of the sculpture to facilitate hanging.
The green man measures approximately 9.5" (24cm) in diameter.
I would not recommend hanging this green man outside.
