Full description
A gorgeous jade coloured merino wool and silk scarf. This scarf has been made using fine layers of jade coloured merino wool fibres topped with a blend of recycled sari silk fibres. The silk fibres have been added to one side of the scarf only, the reverse has been left plain. The scarf has been wet felted which binds the fibres together to create a stable fabric.
The resulting scarf Is beautifully soft and lightweight with the silk fibres adding colour, texture and a lovely sheen to the surface. It is a long scarf measuring approximately 184cm )x 23cm and is long enough to tie in a knot or wrap around the neck for extra warmth if required.
Wool is a natural fibre making it eco friendly, sustainable and biodegradable. It is breathable and reacts to the body temperature giving warmth in the winter but cool in the summer making this an all season accessory. A lovely gift for mothers day or any other occasion.
The scarf will be shipped wrapped in tissue paper with a card explaining the felting process and washing instructions.
Handwash only in warm water. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
