I love the variation in the type of Holly & Ivy that is grown and seen particularly in Winter. The contrast between the shapes and forms inspires me to recreate these plants as a felted picture/ wall hanging. The idea of bringing nature from the outside into our homes is also inspirational.

Full description
A piece of textile art created using merino fleece onto a wool background. The imagery is Holly & Ivy using layers of fleece to build up colours, patterns & textures. The felting needle allows the fleece to be manipulated to create the imagery.
The size is approximately 12.5cm x 15 cm ( This does not include the size of the metal hanger)
