The Poinsettia is a common sight during Christmas & the festive season. Its bold red flowers and contrasting dark green leaves I find inspiring to recreate into a felted piece of art. The patterns and textures in this plant adds to my interest and desire to produce the finished piece.

Full description
A beautiful hand felted piece displaying the gorgeous vibrant reds in this flower. The various red tones and textures/patterns have been created building up layers of merino fleece and added details. This piece of textile art is presented on a metal hanger to display on a wall.
