I wanted to create a quilt that evoked the lightness of Spring. I chose soft pinks for the Tulips and paired them with bright fresh greens. This unique design will help chase away the dreary days of Winter.

Full description
Unique design and handmade by Diane Davis. This Tulip Quilt is the perfect design for chasing away the Winter Blues! Soft pink tulips have been formed from pretty batik pastels with a mellow yellow centre. This modern flower has a slender green stem and leaves with a bright white Kona Cotton background. It has been pieced using mostly 3" squares. The backing is a smooth sateen in a soft pink design scattered with white, yellow and green Spring flowers. It has a 80% cotton 20% polyester batting/wadding/filling. This creates a warm and soft loft. It has a cross hatch quilt that holds everything together. This quilt can be washed and dried on a cool setting in a domestic machine.
