The spiral mount was the ideal choice to mount this piece of Carnelian so making it possible to turn it into a pendant. I felt this needed to be celebrated, not left in a drawer. I hope this pendant will bring you joy. Carnelian is believed to have certain spiritual powers but I’ll leave you to look into this.

Full description
This piece of carnelian was an amazing find out on the beach. It has not been mechanically tumbled, just sea-tumbled, creating an irregular but smooth surfaced piece of semi precious stone. The silver-plated spiral ‘lantern’ is very flexible and just fits the stone. The total length is 1.5ins and 3.5ins in circumference and the silver plated chain is 18inches in length.
I often find small pieces of carnelian on the beach while looking for seaglass, but this is the largest piece I have found.
Due to the dimensions of the lantern this will be sent out using small parcel post.
