Inspired by work of Louis Comfort Tiffany - hard not to get inspired, it's so amazing! And it works really well as a circular project! It's my second attempt on the subject, first one was tragically broken during a move, but I really wanted to have one made. I really love how the colours gradually changing all the way from red to green.
This candleholder is painted in black lined peacock tail feathers, that start orange-red on left side and gradually turn yellow green on the right side, with a central dark green peacock body, on a tumble whiskey glass. Covered with a layer of transparent varnish for better preservation.
This lanter would make a perfect addition to anyone's home decor and a great housewarming or birthday gift. Perfect to light to have a relaxing evening with good book and a cup of tea or an atmospheric bath.
It will arrive to you double boxed. Inner box will be covered in hand- marbled paper with my logo and the cut out window to show the glass inside. In betten boxes and inside the glass I will pack as much of bubble foil or other packing material as humanly possible. Both boxes and the packaging inside are made of recycled packaging in the name of sustainability.
All of the profit from the sale ( take Folksy commission fee, postage and 1 pound per iitem put away for future projects) will be donated to charity- either to support RSPCA, Cats Protection or Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. See About to learn more
