Inspiration was the stretch abstract printed cotton jersey, used for the bandeau top.
Patches inspiration was the print 'Love Never Dies' in golds, and the fun was in teaming more prints and plains of pretty quality to create the patched bottom. Black was used to bring out the black in the bandeau jersey print.

Summer stretch bandeau top patchwork mini dress in coffee, cream and black.
Dress doubles as a skirt by using bandeau top as a cummerbund waist band.
Black, cream and fawn, prints and plain in mostly cotton with some viscose. Bandeau/cummerbund is in jersey stretch cotton. Pretty prints and black lace hem. Patch print of interest with gold flowers and lettering 'Love Never Dies'.
Lined.
Patchwork is attached to bandeau with cross-back stitch which allows stretch; lining in same way.
