Dartmoor is a place that fascinates me, it’s so full of history yet feels as though we are only now realising its importance for our climate.
In these painting I try to explore this ancient, living place. Walking through the peatlands with can almost hear it breathing under foot as the plants and insects around you work their magic in their ever changing performances.

Full description
This little original landscape pictures the boundary between the open moorland and the farmed countryside of Devon. For me its a place where the two worlds meet, the place where I leave the modern world behind me as I stride out across the moorland and just breathe.
Time slows down and you can take in the beautiful details in the nature around you. Take a minuet to leave your worries at the gate before heading out and enjoying the space.
Dimensions: the painting it's self is 10"x8" and framed it's 11"x9".
