I love walking on the beach with my husband Martin and our elderly Jack Russel Gilbert. We visit all year round and there is beauty in every visit rain or shine, fog or even snow. I take lots (and LOTS) of pictures and they, along with my memories provide my inspiration for my work.

Handmade, unique and ethically produced fabric picture using recycled materials.
This shows a stunning golden textured sandy beach with dancing, blue waves rushing in to play. Spot the flip flops on the sand.
This is an unglazed picture in a beautiful, black, ornate and moulded plaster frame. The picture uses a mixture of textiles, including lace, buttons, ribbon, beads, copper wire and sari material. I use different sewing techniques, choosing to hand sew and machine sew using a variety of different threads to create my images which are inspired by Cornwall where I live.
I recycle frames and fabrics and endeavour to work in a sustainable manner to prevent materials going to landfill. There may be slight marks on the frames as they are not brand new.
