Dartmoor is a place that fascinates me, it’s so full of history yet feels as though we are only now realising its importance for our climate.
In these painting I try to explore this ancient, living place. Walking through the peatlands with can almost hear it breathing under foot as the plants and insects around you work their magic in their ever changing performances.

Camping on Dartmoor allows you to experience some amazing times of peace and quiet. Watching the sky slowly fully darken before the stars come out to play with only an occasional Nightjar for company, perfect.

Unframed but signed, sealed and strung and as all the sides are painted it can be hung as it is.
