Full description
This small but chunky book is a pretty example of a colourful exposed binding using Coptic stitching. This style of binding enables the book to open wide flat and for the pages to lie flat son artists, in particular, find this type of binding useful to their needs. It is covered in silk Japanese book cloth in a lovely soft green and it has an inlay of foxgloves (originally painted by my sister); inside there are more foxgloves and additional artwork. It is filled with many pages of good quality paper and it measures 11.5 x 10.5 x 3.5, It would make a lovely book for someone who likes to sketch and record their thoughts and observations.
