NOW SOLD THANK YOU - RESERVED FOR ALEX
A silver narwhal bracelet with shepherds hook fastening, inspired by my scenic bangles.
I love bangles but they do not love going over my hands.....
I wanted to create a scenic bracelet, a lovely alternative for anyone like me who struggles with bangles, and of course for all bracelet lovers! Completely handmade with a shepherds hook fastening.
Featuring a citrine cabochon.
The overall length is approx 21cm, but the shepherds hook fastening gives you the option to shorten the length to approx 18cm (depending on which link you attach it too).
The central hare section measures approx 48x18mm and curves slightly to compliment your wrist.
Hallmarked by Sheffield Assay Office.
Making process:
Each piece I create is made using traditional jewellers tools; these include a jewellers saw to pierce out shapes, hand engravers, metal punches and hammers to create detail and texture, with a fair bit of soldering, filing, sanding and polishing. My finished work is oxidised to highlight the detail in each piece.
I started making jewellery in 2005 and my inspiration has remained constant over the years; a deep love of nature, wildlife, folklore and mythology; feeling connected to our ancient ancestors through the beautiful landscape of the British Isles and my love of history.
