Hi, I'm The Old Button - welcome to my shop and I hope you find lovely things that you would like to buy.
Most items will be dispatched within 1 day of ordering (see each listing), and I can send on your behalf - just add my Direct to Recipient upgrade to your order.
I use Track 24, or 1st class for cards, as standard, but you can also add an upgrade to Special Delivery.
I've paused commissions for my embroidered play scenes and patchwork quilts until next year, but I have gift voucher options.
The inspiration behind this kit is the snippet of vintage tapestry style fabric - the texture and colours are so rich. I think it goes beautifully with the scraps of vintage velvet curtains and the more subdued cotton prints, as well as the brocades and trims.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

A stunning collection of fabrics and trims in rich colours and textures - ideal for a Christmas themed slow stitching project or textile art. Ideal as a stocking filler or gift for a crafty friend - I can post direct and the box fits through a letterbox. Or buy one for yourself and create something beautiful.
The A5 box has over 30 snippets of vintage or salvaged fabric and haberdashery, all carefully selected from my own collection or sourced from local vintage shops and individual sellers. Due to their age, some pieces may have small marks or tears.
Each box varies includes pieces of
