Full description

Wych Elm Spell Bowl: 'The Melter of Obstacles'

A delightful bowl, hand-carved from a piece of dense, smooth-grained wych elm wood.

This piece has a lovely texture and feel in the hands.

Size: 3.5" x 3.5" x 1.25" (9cm x 9cm x 3.5cm)

Wych elm is a native British elm that inhabits the more upland regions of the land, often found by upland streams. It has large unevenly lobed, saw-toothed leaves and a smoother bark than other elms. The wood is fine-grained and lighter in colour.

The internal designs of this bowl focus on the dissipation of obstacles and problems.

On the rim is a full rune row that can be used to tune into the tree spirit and can be used to clarify decisions and situations.

Running a fingertip along the rune rows will indicate by a different feel, which rune energies are helpful to each situation.

These can then be drawn out and placed in the bowl, or visualised and meditated upon whilst holding the bowl.

Clarity is not always immediate, but like clouds passing away from the sun, there will be a relaxation and opening out to new perspectives and possibilities.

At either end of the outside are the symbol and spell of the tree spirit.

On the base is a complex rune design that encourages growth, expansion, balance and harmony.

Also excellent for working with as an offering dish, for meditation, for working with the Wych Elm Tree Spirit and for magical workings.

A unique piece for meditation, healing, relaxation and bringing calm.

Will come with a cotton
