Full description

Preseli Bluestone "Rustic Wrap" Flat Stone Pendant (4)

Silver sheet hammered and folded to hold a polished stone of Preseli bluestone.

With 16" silver chain.

A rustic, weighty and solid pendant that shows off the colours and textures of the rare bluestone.

Size: approx: 1.25" x 0.75" x 0.25" (3cm x 2cm x 0.5cm)

Preseli Bluestone comes from the Preseli Hills in West Wales.

It was so valued by the ancestors there that it was transported hundreds of miles and formed the central sacred circles at Stonehenge on Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire.

Thus, Preseli Bluestone can be said to be amongst the most revered stones in the world.

Wearing a piece of Preseli Bluestone makes a conscious link with the deep past, and also with the hopes of the present.

It was used, probably, for the deepest healing rituals and for establishing harmony and order between heaven and earth.

Those who have explored its potential regard Preseli Bluestone as a great healing stone on many levels, from easing aches and pains to clearing long held trauma and past-life patterns.

One of its main qualities is to open up subtle perceptions in a safe, grounded way - so it can be truly thought of as a bridge between the different levels of awareness and reality.

Please note that all the Preseli Bluestone pieces we use are from the only licensed and approved source in Pembrokeshire, West Wales, and have been verified as being identical in chemical composition to known bluestone monoliths at Stonehenge.
