This beautiful and unique hand crafted Dorset button barrette hair slide clip is crafted using handmade traditional Dorset buttons.
Each Dorset button is hand crafted using traditional techniques with beautiful metallic threads around a metal ring.
The Dorset button barrette measures approximately 8.5 cm (3 1/2 inches) in length.

What is a Dorset button?
Dorset buttons are a handmade button that originated in Dorset, England and is now considered a heritage craft.
Dorset buttons dates back to 1600’s where the first buttons were made using sheep’s horn, fabric and threads.
