CHRISTMAS 2024: Please order in plenty of time for the festive period. Royal Mail advises the last dates for posting will be 21st December for the U.K. (Royal Mail Tracked 24) and the end of November for International. I will continue posting after these dates, but there will be less chance of the artwork arriving by Christmas if ordered after these dates.
If you are buying artwork as a gift, I can gift wrap the painting and send it on to the recipient. Just send me the details at checkout.
Prior to posting, framed paintings will be covered with glassine paper before being carefully encased in a protective wrap. Wherever possible, I reuse internal wrapping materials I have collected. The painting will then be secured in a heavy duty mailing box. For unframed artworks, the paintings will be mailed in a reinforced, hard backed envelope.
(40) This original painting is called, 'Airlie Woodland.' Living in Kirriemuir, it is not far to enjoy the scenery, the walk and of course the views once we reach the monument. This would make an ideal gift for any occasion.

Full description
This is a small original artwork of a Scottish landscape. It is a fine day for a woodland walk to the Airlie monument. I have used professional quality acrylic paint with a range of brushes for the sky and hillside. I have used a range of fine to medium brushed to paint the sky, hillside and the monument. For the foreground I have used knives to layer on the paint to outline the trees and leaves.
This colourful landscape painting is packed full of colour and texture. It will make a perfect Christmas gift that cannot be replicated.
