GOOD NEWS EVERYONE! You can now get an extra 20% off ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING until 13 Dec by entering the discount code HORSEFARTS24 at checkout. (As an added bonus, I haven't put my postage up to the new increased price yet, and I always combine the postage no matter how many spoons you purchase.) The Bargain Bin just got a whole lot Bargainier!
Please note I'll be shutting the shop for my Christmas break on FRIDAY 13 DECEMBER - well before Royal Mail's last posting dates - so don't leave it too late to order your festive spoons. I'll be reopening on Monday 6 January.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
A neat little vintage sauce ladle with a round bowl and flat flared handle with angled corners, hand stamped in the bowl with WE WISH YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS and along the handle with AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR. This would make a really nice little gift or addition to your festive table, to be brought out and polished up every year. Or perhaps you could add it to a Xmas hamper or a jar of home made cranberry sauce...
The ladle measures approx. 13cm long and is silver-plated (EPNS). From the style I'd guess it dates to the 1930s although there isn't much to go on - it's a classic design that would look good with tableware from pretty much any post-Victorian era!
I've coloured the lettering black with a non-toxic acrylic ink. Gentle hand washing should prolong the pigment's life compared with putting it in the dishwasher. The silverplate may require a drop of silver polish from time to time if you want to keep it really shiny. Please note this is a vintage item so it has been previously owned and used and does have a few wear marks. You will be receiving the one shown in the photos so please do look at the photos carefully - I don't want you to be disappointed with your purchase, especially not at Christmas!
